Fun with wheels

The Northern Membership & Community Council has teamed up again with Inclusive Pedals to offer free bike maintenance.  These workshops are becoming very popular and set up at the Co-op in Inkersall, Chesterfield over 14 bikes were repaired and 3 donated.

Speaking to the owners of the bikes from young adults it was obvious that this is a much needed resource.  People do not maintain their bikes and then stop using them.  This has enabled younger people to get back on their bikes and enjoy the safety of their own bikes.  These pop up events have been very successful and has given us the opportunity to talk to members/customers and learn more about our local communities.
