New artists in Willington

Members and shoppers assisted in a community painting project over a four day period at our Willington food store.  The Willington Arts Committee has designed four sections to be completed each day which will make a portrait of Willington.  The Membership & Community Council has supported Willington Arts for a number of years from assistance with banners to providing refreshments.  This is the first attempt to bring the arts into the store and it has been amazing how people have stopped to complete the sections. Colleagues in the store have been able to demonstrate their skills and have also been able to let customers know how shopping with us enables us to provide support to local projects.  The final artwork will be displayed in the store, so pop down and enjoy seeing Willington in a new light.
