Oakham Fairtrade Christmas Market

On Saturday, we  supported the Rutland Fairtrade Group with their annual Christmas Fairtrade Market, which takes place at Oakham Castle.  We were very fortunate to have Geoff from our Oakham Store on the day who has an extensive knowledge on our Fairtrade wine.  It is a joy to listen to him share all his expertise on the region the wine comes from, the best foods to compliment the wine, and of course how the Fairtrade premium supports the growers and the villages in the developing world.  We were also on-hand with our Fairtrade chocolate and feedback was that our Millionaires, Raspberry and Orange are delicious.

We were joined by other stall holders who had some lovely Fairtrade gifts and products with lots of Christmas gift ideas for people wanting to shop ethically.  The event was well attended and we are grateful to Rutland Fairtrade Group for inviting us to attend.
