Sister Act is a Huge Hit!

What happens when the Whetstone Theatre Group and Glenfield Ladies Co-op Choir come together - you get Sister Act! And what a wonderful production it was with sell out audiences.

The Southern Membership & Community Council support both groups with a grant which helps with pay for room rent and associated costs. Not only do the groups support the local community but groups like these are vital for health and well-being and welcome anyone with little or no experience. For this production, the Whetstone Theatre Group sang with the support of the Choir and the Choir acted with the support of the Theatre Group - what a great example of co-operation in action!

A few of us from the Membership & Community went along to cheer on our Chair, Hilary who was taking part in the production, and we all had a fantastic evening - one of the members said "I couldn't stop smiling"

With so much talent in one room - it is excellent value for money for a night out and you are also supporting your local groups within the community.
