Each store features the high quality that Members and customers have come to expect from Central Co-op, including Food to Go, products supporting Our Malawi Partnership, Fairtrade goods, a Bakery, COOK frozen ranges, and much more.
On Friday 30th June we launched an exciting new store in Tuxford, Nottinghamshire and a substantial regeneration of a popular community store in Halesworth, Suffolk too.
For both stores we welcomed local Members and customers with a launch event, attended by local community groups, schoolchildren and food banks, who also received a donation from the stores on the day.
Each store features the high quality that Members and customers have come to expect from Central Co-op, including Food to Go, products supporting Our Malawi Partnership, Fairtrade goods, a Bakery, COOK frozen ranges, and much more.
Our stores celebrated the local community in different ways - our New Eco-friendly Tuxford store includes electric vehicle charging, a free bike repair station, and 124 solar panels, providing greener alternatives for energy as a part of our long-term partnership with Sol PV Group.
At Halesworth, in addition to a total store transformation including a new Insomnia Coffee Shop and an extended community space, we created a brilliant atmosphere for the relaunch with a bike repair event, bike rides, community singing and fruit kebabs!
Members can experience extra savings at both stores through Member pricing on over 100 items, ranging from everyday essentials including milk, eggs, and bread to cleaning products, toiletries, pet products, and more. This is part of our commitment to continue to bring value to Members.
