'Men's Voices' returns for 2022

'Men's Voices' returns for 2022

Our annual Men's Voices returns on Wednesday 16 November and is once again taking place at Burton Albion Football Club.

This years theme is around wellbeing and mindfulness!

We have two great key note speakers coming along; Lord Roy Kennedy, member of the House of Lords and Charlie Ford, Chief Executive Officer of Volleyball England. Both speakers will be giving a talk followed by a Q&A session.

Workshops will be focused around the opportunity to talk, listen and reflect on a wide range of topics that are inclusive of men and people affected by the specific challenges facing men. Topics include; Work-Life Balance, Men's Health and Wellbeing, Male Suicide, Food and Eating, and Cost of Living.

The afternoon will be focused around fitness, wellbeing and mindfulness activity that can support us all. Activity includes football, yoga, a gentle walk, and a cup of tea and a chat.

At this years event we are asking attendees to bring in Men's Toiletries donations that will be donated to local foodbanks. Items that can be donated include; Men's deodorant, soap, toothpaste, disposable razors, shaving cream, shower gel etc.
