MCC Support Community Fun Day at the Greenpatch in Kettering

Every year The Green Patch community garden in Kettering host a community fun day. The event provides a day for locals to enjoy the vibrant green space, its chickens and - of course - to enjoy some tea and cake on the lawn.

This year the Southern Membership and Community Council (MCC) members Alex Hay, Andrea Rudge and George Conchie were pleased to support the event. We had a great day encouraging members of the local community to talk about healthy eating. The stall was very well received with lots of local children (and grown ups) making themselves a fruit kebab and speaking with the MCC members about  the benefit of membership and Central England Co-operative's community activities.

Thanks to all of the volunteers from The Green Patch for making the day such as success.
