Lets Co-operate to help people in need this Fortnight

On day nine of Coop Fortnight, I wanted to highlight that our partners are in real need of food to help people in our community that are need it.

During this lockdown our Foodbank partners have seen a decline in food being donated due to people stockpiling items as well as there being a smaller supply. Central England Co-operative launched a Covid-19 Foodbank campaign to highlight this issue and encourage our members and customers to continue to donate. We also donated money to help support 'Fare Share' and ensure they had the funds to continue to operate at full capacity.

As an act of Co-operative kindness, when you are in one of our Central England Co-operative Food stores, please think about purchasing an extra item or two and pop in the collection points to help our local community who need us more than ever #LetsCooperate and #KeepCooperating together.
