Halloween Celebrations Help a Rise in Food Donations

Our colleagues on the front-line really got behind this year's Halloween celebrations by dressing up, cake making, offering free goodies and treats, along with colouring competitions, pumpkin carving and lot of other in-store activities  across the region.

The Southern Membership & Community Council were on hand to support the stores by taking the opportunity to promote our food banks and talk to members and customers about how their donations make a difference to their communities.  as a result of this, Food Banks saw a major uplift in the donations received from the weekend.
