Tonight I spent some time with Whittington FC Under 11s and their coach Jen, where I presented them with some Fairtrade footballs courtesy of the Western MCC. These footballs will be used to help ensure they can continue to train with one ball per player as their team grows.
All the players were given a Central England Co-op gym bag to keep their kit in. Inside the bag was information on Healthy Choices, Fairtrade, what it means to be a member of Central England Co-operative and how we make a difference in the communities where we trade.
I look forward to hearing about how you get on in the coming season as you move to nine-a-side football - good luck Whittington!
