Fairtrade Fortnight 2023

Fairtrade Fortnight has arrived and runs from Monday 27th February to Sunday 12th March 2023. We are as busy as ever promoting Fairtrade and sharing information on why the Co-op Supports Fairtrade across our region.

Our Fairtrade plans include assemblies in schools and to the Woodcraft Folk, talks to local groups, and a tasting session in both our new Insomnia Cafe in Blaby and the Welcome Lunch Club in Kibworth.  We will also be running a workshop for the Sunday School children at the Gurdwara temple in Clarendon Park, Leicester.

As International Women's Day takes place on 8th March 2023, during Fairtrade Fortnight, we will be taking the opportunity to promote Fairtrade at our Women's Voices event at the National Arboretum in Staffordshire too.
