Fairtrade Fortnight gets off to a great start

I have had a busy week of supporting Fairtrade Fortnight including Ethical Challenges where students visit their local store to find items with ethical logos - from Fairtrade logos, BUAV to FSC logos students learn about the value of ethics. Also, this week I delivered Fairtrade Workshops to over 160 students who designed their own chocolate bars to showcase the benefits of buying Fairtrade.  A joint Tea Dance was held with members across our trading area which raised over £170 for the Society's charity, Dementia UK.  We also highlighted Bala Fairtrade footballs with the help of Chesterfield Ladies Football Club.
