Colleagues support St Giles Hospice at their annual Tree Collecting event

This January saw colleagues from across the business support local hospice St Giles with volunteering to collect Christmas Trees in the local area. The annual initiative sees households donate money to the hospice to have their Christmas Tree collected. This year saw St Giles raise a record amount of money, over £80K and it was a privilege for colleagues to get involved.

Volunteers from Central Co-op collected over 100 trees during the three days of volunteering, with 15 colleagues taking part. The trees were collected and then dropped off at a local farm, where they were then chopped up to make compost etc. A great way to support a local community cause and help the environment at the same time.

Thank you to all colleagues who took part
