Central England Co-op reveal first look at new Tickhill store ahead of launch next week
The brand new store launches in a former public house in Tickhill on Friday, 1 July.
Central England Co-op (CEC) can today give a first look at the progress of its brand new community store opening in South Yorkshire next week.
The Society will officially open its new store off the A60 Westgate in Tickhill, on Friday, 1 July, with confirmed features including self-checkouts, a customer car park, free water refills, hot food to go and a customer toilet.
It will be CEC’s second new food store to launch in South Yorkshire this year, following the opening of its Armthorpe shop back in February.
These images showcase how both the outside and inside of the store have almost been completed and is ready for thousands of products to be stacked onto the shelves ahead of the official opening.
The store’s frontage is almost complete and special eco-friendly fridges and lighting have started to be installed to back up the retailer’s eco-friendly ethos, while the kiosk area is in place ready to welcome locals.
Tickhill Central England Co-op Store Manager Liam Turner said: “The images show that our brand new store in Tickhill is almost ready to launch and we can’t wait to open the doors to the local community.
“Our new store team are ready and raring to go for launch day and are looking forward to building relationships with our new customers and members and being there for them with vital food and essentials on their doorstep.”
The Tickhill Co-operative food store will be open from 7am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday.
The store will offer a wide range of products from everyday necessities to something a little more special.
This includes fresh fruit and vegetables, an in-store bakery offering breads and pastries, chilled beers and wines, fresh and frozen product, Irresistible and Fairtrade product ranges, as well as a great selection of food to go, including hot food.
It will also offer Lottery, Paypoint and a free cash machine.
