Birmingham PRIDE

Led by our Member & Community Relations Officer,  James Knight, colleagues and volunteers from across our Society attended Birmingham PRIDE on Saturday 24th September.  

Birmingham Pride is the UK's largest two-day gay pride festival and organisers said that this year was one of the highest attendances they had ever experienced!

We showed our solidarity with our LGBTQ+ community by walking in the PRIDE parade and also having a stall as place to meet and chat with the thousands of PRIDE attendees.

The atmosphere was amazing - sunny (both in weather and smiles) and truly celebratory.  Everyone felt welcome and part of something special.

Next year's event will return to its natural slot in May.
