Western MCC support community foodbank with some frozen meal deals

On Friday the Western Member and Community Council supplied £200 to help fund 50 meals for people in need this Christmas. The money was used to go towards the purchase of 50 meals for families in need.

Bethany foodbank had an original plan to purchase 50 turkey crowns to give to families in the Erdington area, but after a discussion with Lee in our Product and Category department, who advised them about the meal deal we have on offer, the foodbank decided this was a much better way to provide families with more products for Christmas. The meal deal consisted of a Turkey Crown, Roast Potatoes, Roast Parsnips, Yorkshire Puddings and a Mint Dessert.
