We forged ahead with Black Country Living Museum

On 21 and 22 August 2021, across our North and South Birmingham Co-operative stores, we invited our members to help us support our much-loved Black Country Living Museum in their plans to build a children’s learning resource centre and replica Co-operative store. This will provide children from all over the country with an opportunity to learn through the skills required to be a 1940s shopkeeper.

Our events, from dressing up and raffles, to face painting and food tastings were well attended and we are delighted to share that we managed to raise over £5000 towards BCLM's Forging Ahead development.

We will continue to support BCLM in the future and we'll keep you posted of any planned events or opportunities, through these blog pages.
