Volunteer of the Year
The Southern Membership & Community Council have again partnered up with Everyone Active and Blaby District Council for the Council's "Volunteer of the Year" awards. For the past three years, we have been part of the judging panel and award presenters for the category "Young Volunteer of the Year"
The categories are as follows-
*Volunteer of the Year
*Young Volunteer of the Year
*Sports and Physical Activity Volunteer of the Year
Last year's "Volunteer of the Year" award went to Tanya Smith. Tanya was awarded the prize for her many years volunteering at Cruse Bereavement.
