The Wooldale Allotment has become a local treasure during these difficult time.

It has been a pleasure to support the Wooldale Allotment Association with support to showcase the allotment to the local people.  The allotment has seen more visitors than normal as people have taken local walks and taken an interest.  The allotment association has also offered social distancing visits to the site and organised a scarecrow trail and also took part in pumpkin making at the allotment.  They have provided some local entertainment which has been well received. The Yorkshire Membership & Community Council paid for some local banners to be displayed to showcase the work of the Allotment Association.  Like most things, people do not visit what is on their doorstep, so visiting the allotment is now a regular stop off for the locals.
