Great news, we’re finalists in The Convenience Awards 2024 in the Sustainability Retailer of the Year category.
The Convenience Awards are one of the most prestigious awards in the UK convenience industry calendar. They provide an opportunity to acknowledge and reward the sector's skills and achievements and all those who contribute to it.
We put our community store in Dodworth, Barnsley forward for this award as it showcases a variety of sustainable features that we’re rolling out across our trading estate including solar photovoltaic cells on the roof, zero-waste refill stations for products like cereals, pasta, and coffee plus energy-saving software that precisely monitors usage and free bike maintenance stations .
In addition to this, Dodworth is also home to one of our sustainable spaces bringing open, creative outdoor areas to the heart of local communities that they can enjoy, share and learn from.
Following an extensive judging process, we’ve been shortlisted as finalists and winners will be announced at an event on the 21st March 2024.
