My Last Blog

After 25 years in my role as Membership & Community Officer, I have made a decision to take early retirement and finish on Friday 1st May 2026. I just wanted to take the time to reach out with a heartfelt thanks to all our members and partnerships across the region who I have had the privilege to work with for all the support you have given me over the years. There are just far too many of you to personalise. I have met and work with some exceptional people and that is the part I am going to miss most.

I have always been passionate about looking after our members and making a difference in the communities where we trade and I have had a special interest in health and wellbeing and helping people to live better lives, and I hope this is reflected in everything I have tried to achieve.

I want to especially thank my Membership & Community Council members, who, .without their unwaivering support, this role would have been impossible - they are the real stars.
