Mulbarton Community Fair success

On Saturday, 14 September the team at our Mulbarton Food Store, led by Georgia and Jodie Wooltorton organised the first ever Mulbarton community Fair.

The event saw 25 local businesses, community groups and hobbyists come together on the green next to the store to showcase the talented community of Mulbarton.

There was candyfloss and cakes, handmade jewellery, massage therapy and pet walking services along with the 1st Mulbarton Scout Group’s challenge to build the tallest cane tower.

The local schools, playgroups and allotments association were also represented, along with the Guides and the church choir. The store team ran fundraising games, lucky squares and a lucky dip all centred at the heart of the event which raised a fantastic £422 for Dementia UK.

The day was a huge success with pressure now on to deliver bigger and better for the community next year!
