Free half-term Halloween fun for the family at Stafford supermarket

A Central England Co-op supermarket in Stafford is hosting a day of spooky fun to give local youngsters a half-term Halloween treat.

The Wildwood supermarket in Cannock Road will be offering a range of free activities to keep youngsters entertained from face painting to Halloween craft making, while there will also be the chance for parents and children to sample some delicious Halloween treats.

The event will also include healthy eating workshops and fruit kebab making to teach children about the importance of balancing treats with nutritious food as part of a healthy lifestyle.

The event takes place from 10am to 2pm on Monday, 28 October and all the activities are free, although donations can be made to Dementia UK.

Ben Hall, Store Manager at Wildwood supermarket, said: “Halloween is an increasingly popular time of the year and we are really getting into the spirit this year to offer our fantastic community in Wildwood some free half-term fun.

“We really hope families enjoy the event and some of the tasty treats on offer but as a responsible retailer we are keen to also use this event to educate and remind children about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, while still enjoying all the spooky fun Halloween has to offer.

“So if you are looking for something to keep the children entertained this half-term come and see us on Monday, 28 October. We look forward to welcoming you on the day.”
