Co-ops seek entries from budding film-makers for "Just Film Festival"

Central England Co-operative have entered into a pioneering partnership with Birmingham Film Co-op and Co-op News to support a social justice film festival online during Co-operatives Fortnight this year, 18 June - 4 July.
Entries are now open for the submission of five minute short films in three categories:
- Telling Co-operative Stories (Sponsored by Co-op News)
- Social Justice Drama Short
- Social Justice Documentary Short
There will also be an additional prize for a film in any category submitted by film-makers aged 25 or under, sponsored by Central England Co-operative.
Festival judge and Central England Co-op Chief Executive Debbie Robinson said:
"Central England Co-op are delighted to be supporting the Just Film Festival during Co-operatives Fortnight, a fantastic event that aligns well with our Society purpose – creating a sustainable Society for all. We look forward to seeing the submissions and joining the viewings online.”
The main festival will include ten feature films and 20 shorts in a variety of genres inclduing drama, documentary and animation. It runs online from 18 June - 4 July. See www.justfilm.coop/festival
Entries for the submission of short films are now open and close on Friday 21 May.
