Co-operatives West Midlands reignites its Member Education

Co-op West Midlands are the representative body of co-operative enterprise in the region. Our ethical values of honesty, openness, social responsibility and caring for others resonate well in today’s society as a better way of doing business. As the West Midlands regional arm of Cooperatives UK we are proud to promote all aspects of cooperative enterprise in our area. As Member and Community Relations Officer I sit on this body to help promote Co-operatives and Co-operation in the region.

The body has re-ignited its Member Education 'West Midlands Co-operatives Member Education Group' (to promote and deliver education iniatives, Visits and training to members of Co-ops in the West Midlands.

The first event that is scheduled to take place will be an education visit to Newtown in Wales, the birthplace of Robert Owen. The event will include a tour of the museum and the chance to have some free time exploring the area.
