Co-op to Co-op

The Yorkshire Membership & Community Council members visited Suma, another type of co-operative formed in 1977.   Suma based in Elland, nr Halifax is one the largest co-operatives of its kind in Europe selling vegetarian and natural products to people who want to eat differently - and better.  Ranges include free-from, gluten-free, organic and vegan.  The Co-operative has started to extend its range and you too can find a Suma product on our shelves.  It is a founding principle that Co-operatives work together and this is a great way to demonstrate how the co-operative economy is helped if we work together.  Watch out for more information during Co-operatives Fortnight in June.
