Central England Co-op stores support Woodstock in Whitwick

Three of our food stores in Leicestershire have come together to sponsor a family festival taking place this weekend.

Central England Co-op Food Stores in Whitwick, Thringstone and Coalville are supporting the Woodstock in Whitwick event which takes place this Saturday and Sunday (August 17 and 18) at Hermitage Leisure Centre in Whitwick.

The event offers music, a car show, a silent disco, dog show and a range of fun for children such as a fair and face painting, as well as a wide array of food and drink.

The Southern MCC are also supporting the event offering free fruit kebabs to festival-goers, as well as promoting membership, while retail colleagues will be holding a tombola to raise funds for Dementia UK and encouraging donations to the Summer Food Bank, with the on-going need for food to support the fight against holiday hunger in the area.

Gates open at the event at 12.30pm each day and more details are available in the poster above.
