Barnsley store raises vital funds for good causes

Our Carlton Road store in Barnsley has held a successful charity community event raising vital funds for two good causes.

The event on August 12 saw colleagues organise a range of activities to keep locals entertained, while also raising funds through a raffle and a tombola.

A total of £500 was raised from the event which was split equally between Central England Co-op's corporate charity Dementia UK and local charity Barnsley Independent Alzheimer's and Dementia Support (BIADS). You can find out more about the charity at http://biads.org.uk/
