Another Successful Bike Event

On Thursday 18th August, we once again invited Cycle Saviours to our Marston Moretaine Store for a FREE Bike Maintenance and donations event.  We were also pleased to welcome the Heart of Marston Charity who joined us with a Pop up Shop.  The Charity supports wellbeing and mental health for children in the local area by fundraising at local events.  We have a lovely relationship with the volunteers and invited them along to the day to help them raise funds for this important cause.

Alan from Cycle Saviours did an amazing job working non stop with bikes requiring maintenance, and 11 bikes were also donated by the local community, which will be upcycled and sold on at affordable prices.  Meanwhile, our MCC's were busy promoting our membership and our co-operative difference, and what it means to be a member.

The weather was kind to us and we had a great day.
