A round up of activities

A round up of activities

December was a busy period for both Northern and Yorkshire Membership & Community Council members.

We started the month with a number of activities from supporting the Society's Toy Appeal where we assisted in stores with tastings and support. We worked with a number of foodbanks and charities across the region who were able to take the toys and make a difference to their families. It was fantastic to see the generous donations from members and customers and how the store colleagues had dressed up and got into the festive spirit. To assist the stores, we also did a number of Festive Tastings in store to showcase our seasonal range and talk to people about membership.

We also held a number of workshops from Wreath making to Christmas Decoration workshops. We used our cafes and Insomnia cafes to deliver these workshops and we had a great response to them. We also attended a Christmas Craft event to showcase our cafe and children were able to enjoy a visit to see Father Christmas but also our local craft groups were able to showcase their items. There was also entertainment and activities.

So a good month to close the year and we look forward to 2026.
