Today Kym and I visited the newly built Dersingham Village Centre. The Centre sits close to the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. It is used by lots of local Community Groups, from Friendship lunches-combating loneliness to painting, up-cycling, lace group and film nights. We visited the Lavender Lace Group who were in full swing making some fantastic items. We were looking at ways we can help support the groups both financially and through volunteering and had a tour of the facilities. Central England Co-operative gave the Centre A Community Dividend Award which was enough to purchase the chairs and tables at the Centre.
